The LCEHR is hosted by the Leicester City Primary Care Trust and is an initiative of the local NHS partnership with local universities. The LCEHR provides  service for patients, the public, NHS and social care professionals, academic staff and researchers.

 

The centre was established in September 2004 and successfully launched at a conference in Loughborough attended by 170 people on 11th March 2005.
